a fine spring day in Luray

We went to Luray in May one weekend. Mom and Dad came too and we all soaked up the glorious Virginia springtime.

We walked into town for lunch and on the way back stopped in the Art Warehouse. It's gigantic and filled with pieces for sale by locals. The further into the warehouse you go, the weirder it gets. Amazing! I found a sculpture with little glass vials I'm pretty sure were filled with urine.

Dad was walking around with me and told me not to leave without him. This was a good suggestion as it turns out, because everyone else went home and left us wandering around that crazy place! I liked it though.

Kahlil and Mowgli entertained us us with their Flying Dog act.

Then it was straight into act II, Man vs. Dogs. Kahlil won.

Natalie showed us her office. So professional!

We went up to Skyline Drive together. In addition to the setting sun, we saw a mama and baby bear on the side of the road, a raven, and an American redstart, which is a bird. I looked it up on my Audubon app.

And we got another nice tourist to take our family portrait - ta da!
