Sunday Morning Backyard Visitor

Spotted this little guy on the patio this morning, just passing through.

En Su Boca

We went to Richmond for dinner at En Su Boca last night, a new restaurant co-owned by our old pal, Eric Stangarone. He showered us with delicious Mexican dishes and affection. He is the best. Salt of the earth.

That's Eric, working hard in the kitchen.

We had so much to eat. So much! Ceviche, nachos, aqua fresca, meatballs, 4 kinds of tacos, and three desserts. Eric kept sending things over! We felt like the king and queen. So good!

We were into the custom murals by Ed Trask, big garage door windows, and leafy patio. They've done a brilliant job repurposing an old, dirty shop into a fresh dining venue.

Totally worth the trip. Five stars!

Wednesday Colors

A couple shots from yesterday: I chased a little blue tailed skink up the stairs outside of the library to get its picture yesterday.

Then later caught the sun going down on a jar of carnations at home.

moving over here

Hi mom! and whoever else likes to look at my yard flowers, clouds, etc.

I moved over here from my tumblr so it's easier to post comments, plus I heard on NPR today that tumblr is getting known mostly for porn. Yuck.

I will see if I can move some of my pictures over here too.

Meanwhile, here are some gems I unearthed in my email from over the years:

A winter tableau created by Dad using frozen bird feeder and plastic toy, entitled "Moose on a Lake."

Me learning to salsa with Luis's family at Thanksgiving circa 2008. Note: my usual dancing partner was out of town. Plus he doesn't know how to salsa. This Thanksgiving is in my top 3 most memorable Thanksgivings. I love Luis's family.

Natalie and Kahlil demonstrating the usual dynamic of their relationship.

Kidding! It's the other way around!

Kidding still.

Love you guys!
